What happens when you find out that everyone is out of school on the same day and Dad doesn't have to work? You head for the hills!! The beautiful, breath-taking hills of Zion National Park. We discovered February is the perfect time to go into the park. The weather was perfect, there were no crowds, and you can drive directly to where you want to hike. I've learned that we are a happy family when we are out in the beautiful world.
Of course part of the perfection of this weekend is having the perfect guides! Nothing like having Grandma and Papa to help us enjoy the weekend.
Part of having Grandma and Papa in Southern Utah is having baby-sitters for the two girls who don't want to hike again the next day. So off Shayla, Mom and Dad go to enjoy another beautiful hike in Kolob. Too bad Cambree and Tianne missed out on the gorgeous views and fun times we had that day! We missed them, but yet somehow the hike seemed just a tad easier.
