When our cousins call and say there is a conference that their dad needs to go to in Orlando, of course we must accompany them to make sure they have enough fun. So off to Florida we go....
Sure, it's never easy to just take off to Florida. You must be prepared to be stranded at the airport until 1:30 in the morning....have your rental car fall through and have to pay and rely on taxis the entire trip.....be at the parks and stand in line with ALL of the the Northeast and Europe.....have one child with tonsils so large they're touching, one child throwing up and pooping everywhere, and the third child having an allergic reaction and be so doped on Benadryl that she's crabby the whole trip.
But did that stop us from having a blast?
HECK NO!!!
The girls were so excited to see Mickey that they had to pose at our hotel with the advertisement. Little did we know this would be the only picture we would get with Mickey......
The pool was incredible! And despite being only 50 degrees and the wind blowing, we went swimming.
("we" means them...someone had to be ready to bundle them up when they got out of the water)
We finally made it to Disney!
First stop...Animal Kingdom
Right to the Safari we go...and we were not disappointed!
We got to race with the Rhinos!
We travel in style! No need to bring a double stroller!
Here's the only picture of the whole gang!!
We couldn't ask for better traveling companions!
Magic Kingdom - Phil = still fun.
We had to get Zurg! And we did! He should be afraid of us!
It's so much better to see the world in 3D.
Finally the moment we've all been waiting for.....
HARRY POTTER!!!
While the big people were hanging out with Harry and Hermione, the little people and their mom hung out with Dr. Seuss.
In fact the little people and their mom hung out a lot without the big people. So what do we do with all our time....see all the characters possible!
We finally all met up at Harry Potter and got to ride some rides too. What a blast!!
Then everyone had to check out Dr. Seuss!
All the cousins!
There are not enough words to describe the yumminess of Butterbeer!
We had to run back to Harry Potter to get another one while we watched the kiddos play at Dr Seuss! Delicious!!!
Time always flies too fast and we have to check out. But don't worry we still have time to hit one more park before our flight.
Nothing is going to slow us down...not even puke!
Off to Hollywood Studios to ride Star Tours 550 times (the only ride without long lines)
Those that are too small or don't want to ride Star Tours 550 times plays at
Honey I Shrunk the Kids
Incredible shows at Hollywood! No worries about the lines there.
Give us a hula hoop and we'll have fun anywhere!
So sad we have to go back to the land of snow and cold!
We better make sure we don't lose Tianne in all the hustle and bustle.
Thanks Stevens for inviting us on this fabulous adventure with you! It truly is a trip to remember for both the bad, but mostly the good!!!

Looks like such fun! Hope you told Mickey hello for us-I'm sure he remembers us from last January. Glad you survived the rough patches!
ReplyDeleteI love your description of how easy the trip was!! Ever the great memories though. Thanks for muscling through with us. We love our Disney Cousins!
ReplyDeleteYou sure know how to have fun no matter what! Hope the girls are all feeling better now. It just means you'll have to go again when the conditions are better. :)
