Cambree's 7! Let's Go To Disneyland!

What greater way to spend your 7th birthday than at Disneyland? So that's just what we did for Cambree's birthday!  Our big 7 year old got to get on a plane instead of going to school, along with her family!

Disney must have known we were coming, because we had a bit of Disney magic sent our way.  Check out the name in the window!  Don't we look good being spoiled?

Cambree was the star of the show...so enjoy our favorite Cambree pictures!!  She was old enough to ride rides alone -- so excited!!

Not only did we see characters, but we got to run into family too!!!  So neat to see Leanne and her cute boys!  It's been far too long, and I wanted to keep those boys!

We Love Disneyland! And are always so sad to leave!!  Not ashamed to admit that tears were shed as we did the last walk out the gates!  (or to admit tears are shed while writing this)  Hopefully the memories made will last FOREVER!!

Oh What Do You Do In The Wintertime?

Winter is so hard to enjoy, once the holidays are over; so we decided to try some new things.  First of all we decided our girls needed some culture, so we took them to the symphony.  We had a great time and enjoyed the music from the pixar films. (It also helped that they played scenes from the movies to keep little girls entertained.) Cambree loved watching the violinists and the conductor.  We had such a great time introducing our girls to new experiences and hope they continue to love music.

After living in Utah forever, we decided it was time to start skiing.  Especially since we live so close to the ski resorts.  So we packed up the girls and drove to a faraway resort to test it out for the first time.  We had a blast!!  We have skiers in our family! We are hoping to enjoy this for many years as a family - - it was just too much fun!  Winter doesn't seem so bad when you enjoy the skiing.

A Rockin' New Year!

Ringing in the New Year with this crowd is pretty fun!  We thought it was time for the kids to rely on each other so the following happened...

The evening continued with fun competition in Just Dance Disney and Kinect Sports.  A lot of laughter was heard throughout the house.  Then it was time to set off our "fireworks". Thanks to Uncle Phil bubble wrap makes the best fireworks!!

Now it's time for the kids to go to bed while the parents stay up and laugh.  Everyone grab a spot and watch a movie and go to sleep!  What? The parents fell asleep before the kids? Surprise Surprise! Hopefully a fun time was had by all.
